WORLD WIDE SWEDISH VALLHUND ALLIANCE

About Us

Introduction

The World wide Swedish Vallhund Alliance (WWSVA) transpired after discussions at the 2008 World Dog Show in Sweden.  It was felt that a website where passionate breed enthusiasts', could not only have access to an array of information on the breed but the site could act as a resource centre, particularly for breeders where information on genetic concerns would be available, and breed discussions could take place in a private forum.

All breed enthusiasts are invited to submit articles and information to the public site.

All breed clubs are invited to add to the news section any up and coming events they may be hosting.  Show Schedules, Specialty results,  fund raising, health and eye clinics or other breed information can be submitted.

All agilty, obedience, herding and performance enthusiasts are invited to submit information, news or events to the administrator.

All submissions and information can be made to the administrator via our contact form

Purpose and Scope

Worldwide Swedish Vallhund alliance is a global web site for the purposes of developing a cooperative unified effort amongst breed enthusiasts.

  • 1. To establish an ongoing living history of the breed throughout the World by way of hallmarking individual dog's achievements in all activities without the influence of personal agendas or individual country breed politics

  • 2. To unite our strength at an International level

  • 3. To achieve International cooperation in working towards solving genetic health issues in the breed and to develop universally agreed breeding protocols

  • 4. To be a centre for harmonizing the actions of breed enthusiasts in the attainment of the worldwide purpose.
